The most popular forms of entertainment in India are Bollywood and cricket. There have been many video game titles on cricket but no one has yet ventured out and made a game with a Bollywood theme. Well, all that is about to change as FXLabs along with Zapak and Sify launched Agni, a third person shooter role playing game for the PC.
Arun Mehra is the chief marketing officer at Zapak. He commented, “Today Zapak is the leader in the gaming space with the sheer virtue of the largest gaming community (over 4 million) residing on it. When we saw the Agni game by FXLabs, we were very excited as this is probably one of the first Indian games that will stand up to international standards, therefore despite the fact that this is a PC game we felt it was important to associate with it to promote the game.”
Agni has already been released and is available to a global audience. The game can be downloaded from the FXLabs website. Agni looks like a decent game and it is great to see that someone has taken an initiative to come up with Bollywood themed games.
